Il Pesce, an absolute delight. Italian restaurants that deserve a trip. Let's find out what they are!
The fish

In Italy fish is an absolute specialty and we have dozens of excellent restaurants where you can taste fish in all seasons and in all possible variations.
The traditional dishes range from fries to soups, from those that must be made in the oven or in a salt crust, with potatoes or tomatoes and more, those to be tasted in real triumphs of raw food, or with pasta, from fettuccine to spaghetti or with rice, not to mention the grilled.
So the range of dishes that can be delighted by fish is truly infinite and here I have tried to highlight some places, among the classics, that can motivate a trip through the Italian regions, with the indication not exhaustive of the most representative restaurants, in short, a titanic enterprise.
But if we want to do a gastronomic tour, and to put fish as the main dish in the center, this effort had to be made. It was not easy, and it is obvious that this selection is absolutely limited, but it is necessary to give the idea rough the incredible variety of solutions that can be brought to the table with fish from the Mare Nostrum, the Mediterranean, where fish is not like all the others but has a fragrance and flavor that the world envies us and all our coasts are rich with unparalleled fish.
Well, let's start our tour between the Italian regions as if we were to have a fish-based meal picking only the best from north to south: the appetizer in Liguria, the first in Emilia, the second in Campania and so on, a trip memorable, to be done once in a lifetime to discover the true Italian essence of taste between cult restaurants and simple trattorias where you can find the charm of ancient and modern flavors. Have a good trip!
Recall that winter is the best season for eating fish.
