Salmon with aromatic herbs

Baked salmon with aromatic herbs is an easy, quick and light second course of fish.

Salmon is a fish rich in nutritional properties and the addition of aromatic herbs make it a really tasty dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of fresh salmon
  • Aromatic herbs (rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, oregano, sage, marjoram)
  • ½ grated lemon peel
  • salt
  • pepper
  • extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Finely chop all the well washed and dried aromatic herbs and add the grated ½ lemon peel.
  2. Remove the salmon skin with a thin blade knife and remove the bones; place the salmon steaks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush them with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle with aromatic herbs. Add a little salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes. When cooked, remove from the oven and serve.

Notes

To make the recipe, you can use 4 tablespoons of mixed dried aromatic herbs as an alternative to fresh herbs.

You can cook the salmon in a pan with the lid for 15 minutes, taking care to turn them halfway through cooking.
